Sophia Rosenthal holds a BA in English from Scripps College where she graduated cum laude. Her training and experience encompasses literary theory, analysis, poetry, literary fiction, and advanced writing techniques.
Her honors thesis explored archetypes and feminine psychology in Jane Eyre and Wide Sargasso Sea through the lens of lunar imagery. With a background in literary analysis, she loves helping writers develop and deepen the style and substance of their projects from syntax to argument structure.
Sophia has worked as a staff writer and columnist at The Scripps Voice and as a freelance copyeditor and writing consultant; she is currently a contributing freelance editor at SuperSummary.com. She has also worked as an English and writing tutor for students and ESL learners, which has taken her from Southern California to the French Alps.
When she’s not playing with words, she loves painting, music, traveling (12 countries and counting), and exploring the many restaurants in Las Vegas, where she lives with her boyfriend and several desert houseplants.
